Terms of Service – Wecov

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Services offered

Wecov allows members to:

• Offer or search for a wecov trip
• Book trips
• Communicate securely with each other via the application
• Process payments and refunds according to specified terms

The Service is provided "as is", without guarantee of a particular level of quality.

3. Account creation

To access the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
• Create a secure password
• Accept our Privacy Policy

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login information.

4. Member obligations

You agree to:

• Comply with applicable laws
• Not use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Provide accurate information when booking or posting a trip
• Respect other members and safety conditions during trips
• Not harm the reputation or proper functioning of the application

5. Conduct during wecov

As a driver, you agree to:

• Hold a valid driver's license
• Use an insured, registered vehicle in good working condition
• Follow road safety rules

As a passenger, you agree to:

• Respect agreed schedules
• Adopt respectful behavior
• Pay agreed fees

6. Payments and cancellations

Payments are made via a secure third-party platform. In case of cancellation:

• Cancellation fees may apply
• Refund policies are defined in the booking interface

Wecov cannot be held responsible for disputes between members regarding payments made outside the application.

7. Account suspension or deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account without notice in case of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Abusive, fraudulent or dangerous behavior
• Non-compliant use of the Service

8. Responsibilities and limitations

Wecov acts as an intermediary between members. We do not guarantee trips, punctuality, or user reliability. We are not responsible for:

• Accidents or incidents during a trip
• Losses or thefts
• Damage caused to others

Each user is solely responsible for their actions before, during and after a trip.

9. Intellectual property

All application content (logo, interface, texts, code, etc.) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution or modification without authorization is prohibited.

10. Personal data

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Terms modifications

Wecov reserves the right to modify these Terms. You will be notified by email or in the application. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
